requested an MMD version of Vincent's gun from Dirge of Cerberus, and I've been enjoying making things in Metasequoia lately, so I thought...what the heck, I'll give it a try!
The end result is far from perfect, but I think it turned out all right. The texture on the gun is made from the official game art image used in the request, because I couldn't find any better images to use.
As to the video, while I was working on the gun, I suddenly had a thought of using it for a Bond movie opening credits-style video. Then I found this song and its motion data, and since "ninjin" sounds a little like "ninja" I immediately thought of Yuffie singing it to Vincent, and....the two ideas merged.

Sorry. Oh, and I believe the fire effect is by Beamman, as is the muzzle flash effect...which, btw, fired three times, one out of each barrel, but you can't tell between the poor timing and the fire effect behind the second two.)
The download contains three versions of the gun: the .mqo file (in case anyone wants to go back in and improve it with the more flexible tools of Metaseq), an .x file and a .pmd file with fairly choppy physics on the charm hanging from the handle of the gun. The quality on the video is pretty poor, so you might not be able to tell, but the thing keeps bobbing up and down...and that's vastly improved from the way it was initially behaving, I might point out! In addition to the physics on the charm, the .pmd version also has a bone to control the trigger, so if you want him to fire the gun, the trigger can actually move with his finger.
(Instead of his finger going through the trigger.
) For the most part, though, I'd recommend using the .x version, rather than the .pmd one. The .pmd version, btw, is sized to match the Vincent model in the video, so if you want to use it with a different model, it might not match up. If you're using this Vincent model with the .x file, then the size you want is .05. (Seriously, the one Yuffie's dancing on is at size 1. I forgot to shrink it down before exporting it from Meta...
Okay, so before I get to the download link, I have two rules regarding the use of this gun in MMD.One, if you post any pictures/videos with this gun, always credit SquareEnix!
The gun is their intellectual property, even if this rendition of it was largely created by me, they should still receive their due credit for the initial creation. Two, do not use this gun for images of violence perpetrated against good guys! Especially not any of Vincent's fellow party members!
I have no problem with you using this gun to have Vincent shoot Hojo in the head (though you'd have to be sure that was okay with the people who made the Vincent and Hojo models first, naturally) or to shoot Sephiroth, or villains from some other game, or whatever. But I don't want to see any images of Vincent using this weapon on his friends! If you absolutely must, you can have him fighting people from other games, so long as no one gets seriously injured. (Like how in the Avengers, when Thor arrives, he fights against Iron Man and Captain America, but they don't any of them cause any permanent injury to the others. So if you want Vincent to spar against Squall or Cecil or whoever as a manly way of saying hello, fine, just don't spill any blood.) If I see any egregious uses of this gun for violence against any of the party members from FFVII, though, I will
take the download down, so please don't be a creep and ruin things for everyone else, all right? No matter how much you might personally dislike a character, there are always going to be people out there who love them, and it's painful to see fanart depicting them being hurt in any way, especially when they're being attacked by their own friends. Try and think about how other people are going to feel on seeing an image before you post it, please. (In general, not just in regards to this gun.)
Right, so with that out of the way, the download is here: [link]

Oh, and that Yuffie is also now available (slightly upgraded from this version) here: [link]
