A mood light to help set the scene! (You will need AutoLuminous to make it actually glow, of course.)
This is a .pmx file, so that you can change the pattern through which the light shines. I included four pattern files, though one of them is just the words "your design here" on a black bitmap. Because I'm not very good with creating textures (in fact, I'm terrible at it!) and I thought it would be best to let people design their own. The picture above shows the other three designs I included, but they're even worse than the main one.... (However, I had to put something in there, if only to make sure that the sliders were working correctly!)
There is, however, a second version of the light included in the .zip file. On the main version, mood light.pmx, you can use the twist bone to rotate the central column, changing the colors that glow through from the interior. When I created this light, I wanted it to auto-turn, as was described in this tutorial: fav.me/d6cf99q
Unfortunately, it wouldn't work on this model, and it would spin insanely fast (see this: fav.me/d6e9isd
) I think, ultimately, that the speed of the spin depends on the number of vertices involved, and this doesn't involve very many. (Just my theory, but it does fit the known facts.) However, I went ahead and included the self-rotating version, just because. It's under the name mood light epileptic.pmx, 'cause I'm worried it's going to give people epileptic seizures.
Feel free to edit in any and all ways you can imagine.
Made in Metasequoia, textures made in GIMP. Background for the picture is tkgrid.
